I taught Physics for 12 years at a top independent school in Norfolk. I am an examiner for a number of different exam boards at GCSE and A-Level. I have also worked for a number of years as a tutor on residential courses for a leading commercial provider and under the National Tutoring Programme after Covid.
I re-trained as a Physics teacher after careers in the Army and in the IT industry. I try to bring the Physics syllabus to life using real-world examples, showing the relevance of the core ideas in an attempt to make them more meaningful and memorable.
I believe that many students simply lack self-confidence in Physics and are capable of more than they realise. During my teaching career, I have most enjoyed the opportunity to help students maximise their exam grades.
