I am a native Spanish speaker and lived in Spain for 12 years where I became a very proficient and experienced TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language) tutor working with primary, secondary and adults on a one-to-one and small group basis. I also developed some Business English courses for a local college.
My degree in Management Studies and French and 3 years living in France allowed me to further develop and perfect my fluency in French. In France I gained experience tutoring to different groups of students, from secondary and pre-University to ski instructors.
I also lived in Shanghai for 3 years which gave me a perfect opportunity to achieve an intermediate level in Mandarin.
In the U.K., I have been tutoring students in
French and Spanish at GCSE level, focusing on fluency in speaking, grammar and use of the correct expressions. Working as a teaching assistant in secondary gave me an insight into the curriculum in GCSE and A level Spanish and French.
I believe in working with the student and personalizing their tuition from the very beginning.
My goal is to build the students confidence and motivation as well as develop their fluency and understanding in the foreign language.
