As a medical doctor and University of Manchester alumni , I have worked hard to get where I am today. After going through the GCSE and A-level process myself and figuring out the right techniques that produced the best results I am now equipped with the knowledge and passion to pass this on and make things easier for other students.

I am eager to help students in GCSE Biology and chemistry and A-level biology which is my area of expertise. This can be from reviewing and revising topics, asking questions about lessons to working through exam questions together, to make sure students have a full understanding and are now confident in those areas.
My knowledge of biology at a university level can ensure students can apply further knowledge into their studies needed to achieve top grades especially that needed to achieve A* in A-level biology.
I believe in a holistic approach and therefore keep in contact and answer quick questions outside tutoring sessions to ensure students are supported throughout the time of their studies.

My teaching style is relaxed but efficient, every student deserved to have a friendly and approachable person to rely on. I like to make sure to pin-point areas that my students need to work on and consistently give exam practice as they learn to solidify their knowledge. I believe every student is unique and therefore like to tailor each session to the student and find out what learning style works for them- this way they are able to use it beyond the lesson.

As a medical medical student going to the biggest Russel group medical school in the UK- The University of Manchester, I know how difficult and draining the application process is.
Especially not having a mentor and someone to ask questions when going through the process. I have in the last 3 years worked to review and advice personal statements for Medical and Dental school applications with students with a success rate of over 85% percent.
I believe having been through the process myself and knowing and networking with a variety of healthcare professionals including dentists, I have an extra area of expertise that not a lot of people do.

Experience: Being a peer mentor and tutor is something that I have done in all stages of my education to make sure I can make the journeys easier for students. I have the most experience in GCSE Biology but have also tutored in KS3 subjects maths, english and science and know how to explain and simplify difficult topics to students and create diagrams to make sure every area of difficulty is is addressed and overcame. I have experience in both online and face-to-face sessions and have done some group sessions where the areas of help needed are similar. I am friendly, patient and flexible and I believe this is the only way to gain a good rapport and communication between students and I.
