Jeremy

Jeremy has an outstanding track record of getting his students A*s and As as the Head of Economics (and also Director of Sixth Form) at a top London secondary school. Having taught Economics A level and GCSE for 7 years, his students consistently rank in the top 10% of Economics students nationally and leave to study Economics at Oxford, LSE, UCL, Kings, and other Russell Group universities. Jeremy has an MA in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University in the USA, a university ranked higher than Harvard and Yale in this academic area. Jeremy also has a BA in Economics from the University of Nottingham, and prior to teaching worked at Goldman Sachs, PwC, and Shell.

Availability: Jeremy is available for online economics tuition only delivered through google meet. He uses a writing slate to replicate a e-whiteboard teaching style that is fully interactive for students, and combines this with exciting visuals, practice questions and exam papers, as well as essay writing masterclasses to meet the needs of each individual student. Equally, if you’re not totally sure what to focus on I’ll run a diagnostic assessment of you knowledge and skills and use that to put together a plan to work on your areas of weakness.

As the head of Economics he leads a team of staff across curriculum design, assessment, meaning he has an in-depth understanding of the syllabus. He tutors and teaches students from a wide range of abilities, across OCR, Edexcel, and AQA exam boards.
