Jeremy

Jeremy is an approachable, professional tutor with a good sense of humour who really shows an interest in each student as an individual, helping them learn in the way that best suits them. Jeremy has a long track record of helping students get the grades of their dreams (80% received A star/As in 2024 exams), he and truly believes that everyone can succeed in economics no matter their starting point. His students consistently rank in the top 10% of Economics students nationally, and many go on to study Economics at Oxford, LSE, UCL, Bristol University, and other Russell Group universities. He is currently the Head of Economics (and also Director of Sixth Form) at the Best Secondary School in the UK (winner of the 2023 TES Awards for Best Secondary School).

Jeremy has a first class MA in International Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University in the USA, and a BA in Economics from the University of Nottingham. Before becoming a teacher Jeremy worked at Goldman Sachs, PwC, and Shell.

Availability: Jeremy is available for online economics tuition delivered through google meet/Microsoft Teams. Experience: Jeremy has 10 years experience teaching A level and GCSE Economics to the highest level at secondary school, as well as online-tutoring of students in the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Far East who are students at private/public and international schools. Jeremy`s students consistently rank in the top 10% of Economics students nationally. As the Head of Economics he leads a team of top class Economics teachers meaning he has an in-depth understanding of the syllabus and exam technique. He has tutored and taught students from a wide range of abilities (A*-E including many with Special Educational Needs) across Edexcel, AQA, OCR exam boards and IB. A consummate professional, Jeremy brings his experience working for leading UK`s Bluechip companies such as Goldman Sachs, Royal Dutch Shell and PwC to his tutoring and teaching practice to ensure students have a rich repertoire of case studies and real world examples to enhance their exam grades.
