Information about Henna
I have graduated with a PhD in Structural and Molecular Biology from University College London. I enjoy science for many reasons, but I enjoy the humbling yet highly rewarding path to discovering new knowledge using innovative research methods.
During my time in academia, I enjoyed teaching this knowledge on to students and researchers alike. I believe in making science accessible for all and want to share the knowledge and study skills I have developed over the years. My tutoring interest started when helping in my local neighbourhood, which also allowed me to become familiar with exams boards and science curriculum.
My teaching style is dependent on the student`s age, ability, and their personal academic goals. So my lessons are structured and tailored individually. I will not only teach but encourage building good study habits and skills that can be applied to multiple subject areas. I am able to teach from KS2- degree level and can help in academic thesis writing.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have taught undergraduate and masters students in a research environment. I have completed qualified tutor training and currently teach GCSE science students too.
