Experienced and approachable English teacher with experience from KS3-A-Level English Literature and Language, enjoy making learning fun and pushing students to challenge themselves. I enjoy seeing students fulfil their potential and push themselves to achieve grades they thought they weren`t capable of reaching.

We engaged the help of Nicole as our son had just started year 11 and we felt he needed some extra help with both his English Language and Literature subjects. This has proved to be an excellent decision as Nicole was able to help our son learn how to more effectively answer the questions being asked. His skills improved with extracting the required information from the texts and with structuring his answers in such a way that allowed the relevant information to be written clearly, without waffle. We were very pleased that he achieved a grade 8 in both his English Language and Literature exams. We would have no hesitation in using Nicole again and would happily recommend her as a tutor.

Our daughter had a huge confidence crisis and panicked in her English literature mock exam and felt unable to write essays. Nicole has restored her confidence by providing structure + methodology that she could follow and by explaining ideas and helping our daughter to understand some of the key concepts in the literature she was studying. She is flexible, positive and makes English enjoyable. Our daughter went into her GCSE English literature exam feeling confident and that she had a decent toolkit to help her in the exam. We would highly recommend Nicole and are confident that she will achieve decent grades.
