I know that some individuals desire and require additional support with English, one of the most important subjects in the curriculum, in order to achieve their potential.
I have already enjoyed success working with both A grade pupils and C/D borderline pupils (on the old grade system!) and I thoroughly enjoy my subject which enables me to build strong working relationships with my pupils. I do expect the young person I am working with to commit themselves fully to their progress to ensure that, together, we can increase their grade.

Availability: Afternoon, evenings and school holidays

Experience: I completed my NQT year as an English Teacher in an outstanding school in Winchester. I am now working in a senior school in the south of Hampshire. I have experience of teaching a number of Shakespeare plays, modern plays such as `An Inspector Calls` and `Blood Brothers`, poetry and a variety of other popular and classical texts. I am also happy to support creative writing.
