Hi there! I`m Sarah, and I’m passionate about helping young students build confidence and thrive in their academic journey. With a warm, patient, and engaging approach, I specialize in tutoring primary school children in subjects like reading, writing, maths, phonics and preparing them for their KS2 SATS.
I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs of my students. My goal is to make learning fun and relatable, encouraging curiosity and a love for learning in every session. Whether it’s reinforcing schoolwork, preparing for exams, or just building foundational skills, I’m dedicated to providing personalised, one-on-one support that fosters both understanding and enthusiasm.

Experience: I have a diverse range of experience in education, which has equipped me with the skills to support students in various learning environments. As a primary school teacher, I developed and implemented engaging lesson plans, tailored to the needs of my students, and fostered a positive classroom atmosphere. In my role as an ESOL teacher in Spain, I worked with non-native English speakers, helping them improve their language skills through creative and interactive lessons. My experience at an English Summer Camp further enriched my skill set, where I not only taught English but also led activities to boost students` confidence and communication skills in a fun, immersive environment.I also gained invaluable experience as a Teaching Assistant, supporting teachers in the classroom and working one-on-one with students to enhance their learning. In addition to my classroom roles, I have worked as a private tutor, offering personalised instruction in core subjects to students of all levels. This diverse background has allowed me to build a well-rounded teaching approach, always focused on the individual needs of my students.
