I have been teaching French and German for 3 years after completing my PGCE in 2019. This means I am very familiar with GCSE German and French. Prior to this I worked as a Lecturer in Travel and Tourism at a college for 2 years. I love teaching and I have learnt to adopt different teaching styles to match the needs of the learner. I also have a strong knowledge of the English Language and good Maths skills which are needed to become a teacher.

Before starting my teaching career, I worked as an English Teacher in a Primary School in Hong Kong, as an Air Stewardess based in Abu Dhabi, and as a Ski Rep based in Austria.

I find that my dynamic background and friendly personality helps to motivate students and I hope to inspire them to take the opportunities that are available to them, as I have.

Availability: Evenings/ late afternoon weekdays and all day at weekends

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I studied French and German at the University of Aberdeen which means that I have excellent communication skills as well as strong research and essay writing skill.

As well as my PGCE in French and German, I also have a Master’s in Education which helped me to develop and reflect on my own teaching skills as well as exploring different ways students learn.
