Hi,

I’m an experienced healthcare scientist with a PGCE qualification in GCSE scientific subjects (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).

I currently work in a secondary school teaching a wide range of pupils, including SEND and English as an Additional Language.

I hold a 1st class Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences. My work experience includes working in the NHS, pharmaceutical industry, government organisations and Public Health England.

My teaching style is a structured one hour lesson. Tutoring involves exam practice questions, but most importantly ensuring that learning is fun, memorable allowing the pupil to build their confidence and enjoy science. This enables the pupil to apply their knowledge across different scenarios, questions and real life applications, thus demonstrating a good understanding of their learning.
