I am Sammy. I`m a 19 year old female who has completed my first year of university. I study mathematics at Cardiff University and finished the year with an average of 80%.

Availability: I am available on weekdays in the morning, afternoon and evening. Once I have returned to University in September, my availability may change but I will still be available in the evenings.

Experience: I have tutored in a few settings previously. For instance, I have tutored 1-to-1 at a school environment but also at the students home. In addition, I have tutored small groups. To continue, while completing my A Levels, I was employed as a learning support assistant where I would support the teacher as a teaching assistant but also support individuals during their lessons. To start with, I would look at past papers the student has completed and ask them to identify areas which they themselves find hard. Using their work, I would see if there were any other areas which also are a bit weaker. From this I would prepare questions from each section which is weaker that the student can attempt after I reexplained the topic, using other resources if necessary. Once all the previous knowledge is solidified, I would go on to teach more of the syllabus ensuring the student understands it with regular exam style questions.
