Hello, my name is Katie.

I am a dedicated and experienced primary school teacher currently teaching in Year 4 with a passion for education and nursing young minds. With a background spanning from Early Years to Year 6, I bring knowledge, skills and diverse teaching approaches into my classroom and therefore into my tutoring too.

Teaching in the classroom enables me to keep up to date with The National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage.

My teaching philosophy revolves around encouraging my students to "aim for the stars." My approach to teaching is enthusiastic, kindness and patience, creating a supportive learning environment where every child feels empowered to succeed.

In the classroom and tutoring, I foster a love for learning, instilling confidence and a sense of curiosity in my young learners. My commitment to helping children succeed is evident in my teaching style.

I will devise a learning plan with each child during tutoring to foster to their individual needs.
