I am Pooja, an urban planner qualified from India. I hold two masters degrees - one in Economics and one in urban and regional planning. I am passionate about teaching. My experience in teaching (at school and undergraduate level) and research makes me a confident tutor for all levels and age students. I am open to new ideas and new methods of teaching and learning.

For Gujarati:
I am born and brought up in Gujarat, India with Indian values. I did my schooling from the most respected Gujarati medium school C.N.Vidhyalaya which is known for its Gandhian values. I have participated in many of the elocution competitions, essay writing, poetry recitation as well as Gujarati plays. Gujarati is my mother tongue. I think in this language and we speak it at home - I can say that is my experience in the Gujarati language. I am a GCSE examiner for Gujarati language and go to different schools for conducting Gujarati speaking test.

For Economics:
I have studied economics for 5 years in my undergraduate as well as in the Master`s level. I am thorough with all the concepts and theories covered under GCSE AND A-level subject area. As an economics teacher and researcher, I always tend to relate the economic concepts and theories with the current affairs. For example, the theories of international trade - absolute and comparative advantage with the current Brexit debates, the various types of unemployment that I have personally observed and researched in India. As I have done my 1st master`s degree in Business Economics, I have studied the role of market, price, production, competition, monetary and fiscal policy to an advanced level. I got admission in my 2nd master`s degree course on the basis of my degree and skills in Economics. As a country and town planner, I have studied the complexity of globalization, economic growth and economic development from various points of views and I am proud to say that I have imparted my hands-on experiences in the fields as a researcher to my students in the classroom.
