I am a highly experienced tutor with a First Class degree in French and German from the University of Cambridge as well as an MSc in Learning and Teaching from the University of Oxford. I am friendly, patient and understanding, with a real passion for seeing individuals thrive when they receive 1:1, personalised support. I have a proven track record in raising attainment with my students frequently to A and A* grades A Level exams and 7//8/9 at GCSE. Finally, I am deeply committed to helping students meet their learning goals and have a flexible approach which is always closely matched to individual needs. I have extensive experience in teaching the whole range from primary to secondary students, onto university and adult learners. In addition to my teaching expertise, I am a certified wellbeing coach so I can also offer wellbeing sessions looking at exam stress, anxiety, confidence, mindfulness and motivation.

Availability: Weekly or fortnightly sessions. Evenings and/or weekends. Zoom or in person. I can also offer intensive sessions in blocks of 2 or 3 hours for things such as exam technique, essay writing workshops, mock oral exam practice, role plays for specific situations e.g. meetings, socializing, ordering in a café and general holiday language. I can tailor a package to suit your child’s needs.

Accredited Wellbeing Coach with the British School of Coaching. 15 years teaching experience, 4 years teaching English to adults, 11 years working in a secondary school teaching French, Spanish and German. 6 years as a teacher trainer. I can tutor French to degree level, German to GCSE level and conversational Spanish. I also have foundation qualifications in counselling skills for children, am a qualified mental health first aider and mental health champion with the children’s charity Place2Be. .
