I specialize in tutoring secondary Maths and Science and have worked with many students, helping them to reach their full potential and get the results they deserve.

I am a PhD graduate in Chemical Biology (2015) and am currently a freelance pharmaceutical consultant.

I try to provide a friendly approach to tutoring while engaging students in the learning process. I believe that it is vital to encourage the student to play an active part in lessons with private tuition being the perfect opportunity for this. I feel that it is key to always have a positive approach in order to give students confidence in their abilities and instill a can-do attitude that will stay with them in their future studies. By guiding students through problems rather than simply providing the correct answer ensures a greater understanding and guarantees that the knowledge is retained.

Availability: 2020/21 Academic Year - Flexible can accommodate most times Monday to Saturday.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic I am currently holding all sessions remotely through Zoom or Teams for the time being.

Experience: I have over 5 years tutoring experience, working with multiple pupils and a wide range of abilities. I have tutored students in Maths and Science at A-level, GCSE, 13+ and 11+ level and am familiar with the syllabuses of the major examination boards. I have experience providing both intensive pre-exam revision sessions and long term weekly tuition.
