I`m a `young` 41 year old and have taught in colleges for just over ten years. I have three children of my own and find that this helps me to communicate well with other young people. Teaching is my vocation and I consider myself to be a fantastic communicator and educator. I`m also a nice, easy going guy who makes learning enjoyable!

I LOVE maths! I realise this might seem a little strange to most people... Try a lesson with me. My enthusiasm will (hopefully) rub off on you or your child. I promise I will make your studies as beneficial, enjoyable and pain-free as possible. I often find that 90% of the problem is confidence or a bad experience with maths earlier in life. Let me change that. You could love maths as much as me! Ok, maybe I`m getting carried away but over the years I have helped thousands of people achieve their qualifications and I love what I do.

Availability: Monday to Friday - after 6pm
Weekends - any time (within reason!)

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have ten years` experience of teaching maths, English and IT. I have decided to just offer maths and IT on this site as I feel English takes longer to master and needs more than just an hour or two a week. I have worked in colleges for the last decade but I have now decided to become a secondary school teacher and I have enrolled onto my PGCE course. It is difficult to survive on a student loan at my age! Consequently, I have decided to supplement my income by doing something I love - teaching maths!
