Hello
My name is Thomas and I live in Penwortham near Preston,Lancashire
I have been tutoring in Maths (Primary, GCSE and A Leve) for 5 years since my retirement from the Aerospace Industry where I worked for 35 years as a Stress Analyst in UK and worldwide.
I graduated from Liverpool University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Liverpool University in 1981.
My specialist subjects are Maths and Physics which I have been involved with throughout my career,
Personally I have been married for 40 years and have 3 grown-up children and 5 grandchildren.
My hobbies include Travel and Music

Availability: I am available whenever required.
My preference would be at the student`s home and I am available 6 days a week

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: Since retirement I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a few schools in the Preston area
The agency I used tended to place me in schools where the pupils had little or no intention in learning.
I decided I would change agents and have since worked at Brownedge St Mary`s school in Bamber Bridge where I was able to help three students attain their GCSEs
I have also tutored 2 Polish students in GCSE maths aged 13 and 15.
I had a short spell tutoring a KS2 student.
My tutoring slowed down dramatically due to the COVID situation
