Hello!

I teach Piano, and I also tutor English.

Piano:
I`m a multi-instrumentalist, with Grade 8 Distinction in Clarinet, Saxophone and Piano. I`m also a self-taught guitarist and singer, and was lucky enough to study at Oxford University.

I`ve taught in schools for the past 3 years, and have learnt a great deal about how to help students develop their abilities.

I`m happy to help you read music, or play by ear - I find that both are highly useful skills, depending on your aims. My lessons are always good-natured and fun, although I do expect my students to try - that is the only key ingredient to becoming a great musician.

English:
I graduated with a BA in English Literature from Oxford University, and have continued to teach in schools for the past 2 years. I have also helped students with one to one tuition, focused on certain set texts or certain exam papers that they may be struggling with.
