I`m an experienced Science Teacher and currently Assistant Head of Science, specialising in Physics, based at a secondary school in Manchester. I use evidence based methods to ensure students learn, remember and are able to do as much as possible in their studies.

I have a Physics degree from Durham University

I have tutored many students, both online and in person, over the years. I tutored four tutees during the 2022-23 academic year alone.

I am available at any time and day during the latter part of the Summer holidays, and then most evenings once School resumes in September.

Availability: I am available on Weeknights (Tuesday - Thursday) from 5pm onwards and weekends ay any time. I am also available any time during the holidays.

I`m happy to do remote sessions or travel to homes in West Manchester, South Manchester, Trafford and Stockport areas.

Experience: 7 years as a classroom teacher of GCSE Science including GCSE Separate Science Physics
5 years experience teaching OCR A Level Physics (and some AQA A Level Physics during my training year)
3 years of leadership positions in my school (KS5 coordinator for science and assistant head of science)

Tutored several students at GCSE and A Level, including four students in the 2022-23 academic year.
