Information about Anthony

I have been a languages teacher for 24 years and have taught German, Spanish and French to both secondary and primary school students. I have been Head of MFL in a local secondary school for the last 8 years.

Availability: I am available on most evenings and Saturdays most weeks but other time slots can be arranged with notice.

Willing to travel: 12 miles

Experience: I have taught German to A level and Spanish and French to GCSE.

I did German as part of my degree and am fluent, In addition to this, I studied French at A level and have Spanish GCSE and have taught this to GCSE students for the last 14 years.

I am currently teaching the new GCSE and am fully aware of the new demands this places on students and what is required for them achieve the very top grades. As Head of MFL in my most recent school, students consistently made excellent progress in their GCSE exams, achieving exceptional results in their speaking exams.

5/5 Rating

Anthony is an excellent French teacher. My daughter has improved in the subject and has gained confidence. Now getting good marks in listening and speaking also (where she was struggling before). His teaching methods are good.
Anthony is very flexible in terms of availability.
He is a brilliant teacher with remarkable teaching skills.
We would recommend him to anyone who wants to secure good marks in GCSE.
