Eleanor

I am an enthusiastic and very friendly teacher. I have been teaching for 7 years now. I worked for three years abroad teaching English as a foreign language and then worked for 4 years in three different primary schools. I have taught in the UK and in Spain across both Key stages. I worked as a Year 2 teacher for two years and have experience preparing children for the KS1 SATs. During my time abroad I have also tutored children.
I now currently work in a [contact detail removed] across KS1 and KS2 as both a class teacher and EAL intervention teacher.
I am very passionate about my job and I always aim to plan fun and fulfilling lessons to keep children engaged.

Availability: I am available during the evenings Monday - Friday.

Experience: I have a degree in Criminology and Sociology and a PGCE in General Primary. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching in both Key stages. I have experience guiding children through Year 2 SATS papers for two consecutive years achieving strong results.
I have had extensive training in phonics and have led phonics intervention classes to ensure children pass their year one phonics test. I also have experience teaching English as a foreign language.
