Information about Jenny-marie
I have worked as a secondary English teacher for the past 20 years, mostly in Good/Outstanding schools. As KS3 coordinator of English, I have developed and monitored the curriculum for students in years 7-9. I trained as a primary school teacher with a specialism in literacy. I have taught GCSE English Language and Literature, mainly for the AQA examination board but also for Edexcel and Eduquas. I have been tutoring English to all ages for the past 5 years - mainly as preparation for GCSE examinations but also at primary level to develop confidence and adult level e.g. to pass literacy exams for teacher training.
I take a coaching approach to the tutor session that empowers the learner, putting them at their ease and quickly creating success.
