I am a qualified teacher of Economics, Business Studies and Law. I have been enjoying successfully teaching sixth form students for more than 20 years.
Availability: Evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I currently teach Economics in a large Catholic sixth form college in Manchester. I have previously taught in a sixth form college in Warrington, both of these colleges were graded as "outstanding" in their most recent Ofsted inspections.
I have also been an external Economics examiner for the AQA board.
I have taught Economics A level using the OCR, AQA and Edexcel boards and I have tutored students studying Pre-U economics. My most recent lesson observation was graded as "outstanding" under the ofsted criteria and 10% of my students obtained A* this summer and 34% achieved A or A*.

Karen has been an excellent tutor. She has been consistently reliable throughout the time that she tutored my son. She helped my son, a less than enthusiastic leaner, with A level economics and was very supportive of both him and us as frazzled parents. Not only was she able to help him maintain progress in his studies she also helped him with organising his work and study time.

Karen is an excellent teacher. She was very quick at identifying my weak points, and was able to find a good balance between giving me information and asking me questions, which ensured that i was engaged the entire time.
