Information about Saffron
Engaging, innovative, organized and creative are a few words I would use to describe my teaching style. I get great satisfaction from helping students reach their target grades and improving their confidence. Tutoring allows me to use my subject expertise and creativity to excite enthusiasm in students. I have a great rapport with children and I`m confident that my strong desire to help students achieve their goals will go a long way in providing high-quality tutoring service.
I have an extended amount of experience with various year groups which enable me to facilitate engaging lessons and activities all are differentiated and tailor made to individual pupil.
Availability: I currently have two tutoring slots available
Wednesday Evening 5pm to 6pm
Thursday Evening 5pm to 6pm

Experience: I qualified as a teacher in 2009 at the University of East London. After acquiring my PGCE in Primary Education I went on to complete a Psychology PG in Child Development and Learning. I have worked within the Primary Education sector for 7 years so I believe I have a great amount of experience to support the students I tutor. I have worked in international schools, state schools and academies, working as a classroom teacher and intervention teacher, teaching children from the ages of 3 to 12 years old. Furthermore, I`ve also tutored primary aged children privately for English, Maths and assisted with preparing children for 7+ and 11+ entry examinations.

Saffron is an excellent tutor - though our son is only young we noticed he was finding simple elements difficult. In a short space of time we have seen huge improvements, which has benefited his overall confidence in himself. Saffron always provides clear feedback and pointers to work on over the following week - we couldn’t recommend more highly.

I find Saffron to be professional, very good with my child, well organised, she gives us excellent feedback after each lesson, she has very good timekeeping. I am very happy with her and would not hesitate to recommend her to other parents.
