I have 18 years teaching experience in both A Level and GCSE in the subject areas of Business Studies, Accounting and Economics. I am currently working in an outstanding school. I currently tutor students and have assisted many students in the past with successfully achieving the grades they require for UCAS entry.

Overall, I have 20 years teaching experience. In my day to day job as a teacher, I am constantly preparing students for exams. I attend conferences that are directly related to exam technique that is required by AQA and Edexcel boards. I have tutored many students privately over the years and they have all successfully been able to achieve their first option for UCAS. Many of my students have achieved A or A star grades. Students who I have taken on at the beginning of year 13 have boosted grades from C/D to A grades.


I use a variety of learning techniques to help students achieve the best grades possible. It is also vital to prepare students for exams by focusing on exam technique for particular boards such as AQA and Edexcel. Often students need reassurance in particular aspects of their subject knowledge, but mainly are lacking the most appropriate exam technique and strategies - which can make all the difference! Students come to me with good business knowledge but do not understand why their grades are low. Exam technique is vital to achieving the higher grades.

I am also willing to tutor small groups if you had a friend also studying business. It would work out cheaper per student in this situation.
