I am an enthusiastic young academic tutor providing high quality tuition in Maths and English for the levels indicated.

Currently, I am studying for my A Levels in English Literature, Government and Politics and Maths in which I am predicted 3A*s. I was awarded 4As at AS in the subjects above as well as History. I achieved the highest AS scores across all my subjects at my Grammar School. At GCSE I received 11A.A grades. I have successfully taken part in various competitions in my areas of expertise such as Poetry Writing Competions and the UKMT, achieving top scores in the latter in particular. I secured a place at a summer course at the University of Oxford which developed my knowledge of my subjects and ability to communicate it so pupils understand and benefit from it.

My personality is warm and friendly in the hope that students feel comfortable in the tuition environment which is vital to academic flourish. Being 18 I can relate to students and understand fully the challenges of balancing subjects and the pressure that can be put on young people. My recent experience of the examination system means that I know exactly what examiners are looking for and am in tune with current specifications. This feeds into my approach of leaving no stone unturned so they have the necessary skills to do well. However, lessons are also fun and content is applied to real life situations to aid understanding of material.

Availability: I live in Limavady and conduct tutoring sessions at my home location. I am available at the weekends but can work around the logistical needs of the student where necessary.

Experience: One to one tutoring is invaluable as it is solely focused on the needs of the individual. This individuality underpins my tuition and allows students to get the most of it. For Maths and English a small selection of what is offered is exam techniques, time saving tips and extensive past paper practice in conjunction with relevant guidance relating to course content.
