My name is Manisha, after attaining a grade 9 in Literature at GCSE and an A at A-Level my love for the subject grew rapidly. I am currently in my second year at the University of Birmingham studying BA English.

I understand the pressure that students are under, therefore I use my lessons as an escape from that pressure and allow students to be exposed to a more free learning environment, where some of that stress can be alleviated. I strive to make lessons fun through interactive activities to enable students to see the joy as well as the importance, of not only reading books but also helping them to understand the perceptive meanings behind the words, which will allow them to formulate their own insightful interpretations.

Availability: Monday-Wednesday: 3pm-7pm
Thursday: 1pm-4pm, 6pm-8pm
Friday: 10am-8pm
Saturday: 11am-4pm
Sunday: 11am-4pm

Experience: I began my own private tutoring company and have been tutoring students for the past two years in English Literature. I have helped students to develop the skills of looking at a text with a more perceptive eye, as well as understanding why the writer has chose to use specific language choices, structures and settings. I have also been a support for students previously in my school. At GCSE I secured a grade 9 in English Literature alongside the top two percent of students in the country, due to this I have had experience in helping students at GCSE level reach their full potential, whilst assisting A level classes also.
