I`m a 5th year Medical Student at Imperial College and an Imperial Business School graduate. I am passionate about my studies and have tutored medical students, primary and secondary school students throughout my 4 years in London. Having spent summers teaching sciences, art and coaching rugby and swimming I have a confident and attentive approach to tutoring.

My strength lies in my methodical approach to help the student understand the fundamental concepts of the subject and then to apply this understanding to complex problems and exam questions. Finally in setting homework to consolidate a topic and then recapping it at the start of the next lesson, we can ensure that it is both understood and then remembered before moving on.

Outside of my studies, I am an avid sportsman, playing rugby and competing in triathlons up to the ironman distance. So if I`m not studying I`ll probably be cycling!

Experience: I have vast experience in tutoring from primary school to A level, maths and sciences (biology, chemistry and physics) and so am well versed in both the topics required and the exam syllabi. I find the best way to start with any new student is to find out their strengths and weaknesses and go from there. Sessions will be filled with both exploration of topics that aren`t so well understood and re consolidation of recently covered material. This will all be tailored to the particular exam board and where possible to the students in-school lessons.

I have also helped students in writing medical school applications, interview practice, UCAT and BMAT practice, having myself earned a top decile score in the UCAT. I personally benefited hugely from a medical school application tutor and so understand the enormous potential help that can be gained with all aspects of the often difficult process.
