Principally, I am results-focused for the students to reach their individual subject goal.

To enhance the learning experience, I do like to keep the tuition enthusiastic, upbeat and enjoyable - using plenty of worked examples and pictures/diagrams/practical demos.

I am very keen on students also having a very broad knowledge of mathematics and natural science (as well as examination-focus) as overlapping of the subjects sharpens the focus, so I do like to ask questions regularly that are both central and peripheral to the core topic.

I have an enhanced DBS check - the certificate of which will be uploaded on receipt

My lessons are £30 for everybody. They generally run to, on average, approximately 1 hr 15 minutes & whenever we are satisfied with the learning. I do not clock watch or `charge by the hour`

Availability: Weekdays after 4pm. Weekends Saturday a.m., p.m., Sunday p.m.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have a doctorate in geology/chemistry from Oxford University, and over 20 years` tuition experience in both mathematics & respective branches of the natural sciences up to A Level and beyond.
