Do not choose a graduate or student even a masters student to tutor your child! Choose someone trained in learning techniques, someone who has studied how to teach and learning styles.

I am an outstanding secondary mathematics teacher, I have been rated as outstanding by OFSTED. Teachers are observed throughout their career, always ask what grade they received for observations. I am an outstanding practitioner, pupils make outstanding progress when taught by me. This matters because poor teachers only make satisfactory progress with pupils.

I am currently teaching Maths in a successful local secondary school in Slough. I have also taken on a part time role in a primary school as a specialist maths teacher my role is to enable primary teachers to prepare their pupils for the year 6 Maths SATs. I am sure you are aware of the changes to the curriculum and exams in both primary and secondary and I am the most up to date practioner in my field.

I have been teaching for 17 years, I am highly experienced, especially in exam techniques. I am aware of recent changes to the curriculum and have ways to prepare my students for any exam questions they may face. Your child will love maths after they spend time with me.

Please note that homework will be provided each tutoring session and the expectation is your child will complete it. They are able to call or email me throughout the week if they have any difficulties completing it, but IT MUST BE COMPLETED. Progress is important and this can only be made if there is commitment from both the tutor and pupil.

Availability: Saturday and Sunday
Weekday afternoons.

Experience: I have always wanted to teach, from a very young age. I have been teaching and tutoring for more than 10 years, since becoming a teacher. It is not east to teach effectively, not everyone can do this efficiently. I can, I have proven results at various schools. I have been employed as a Key-stage coordinator, this means I create the material for other teachers to enhance their teaching. I choose how and what topic we should teach.
