I only offer A-level Chemistry tuition at your address. I`m sorry, but I do not offer online lessons or lessons at my home address.

About me:
I come from the very north of England.
I am keen on the great outdoors, with a lovely dog that keeps me company.
I enjoy photography and learning about anything to do with Space travel.
Availability: I am very flexible and willing to tutor you from early afternoon through to early evenings, including weekends and school holidays.
I will only tutor at your address, within a local radius from my home as indicated in my profile.
I offer 2h lessons for one student @ £50 or 1h for one student @ £30.

I have taught A-level Chemistry for over 30 years. I was Head of Chemistry in an Independent School for many years and am very experienced in teaching KS3, GCSE and particularly A-level. I have also been an A-level Chemistry examiner.
I have even worked with children at KS2 level teaching Science, Maths & literacy.
Every person can achieve their potential when they work hard. I understand that some people need little extra help and support to get there. I can adapt the learning experience and I have the patience for my students to succeed in Chemistry.

Chris`s knowledge and enthusiasm for chemistry is utterly infectious! He really brings the subject to life and is wonderful at explaining things in an engaging way. He`s brilliant at showing how to present exam answers in a way to maximise marks, which will really help my son in the run up to his A level. We are delighted to have found Chris - I can`t recommend him highly enough!

Chris has been helping my son for the past year with his A-level chemistry. He is clearly very knowledgeable and has been very thorough in making sure everything is covered. He always gives encouragement and is very enthusiastic during the sessions which my son has thoroughly enjoyed. It has been good to see him growing in confidence as the months go by.
