A well qualified and experienced classroom teacher (14 years). I love teaching Maths and have been tutoring privately for over 10 years.
I have a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Salford Uni and a PGCE. I`m based in Wigan.
I specialise in online tuition and have my own website and software / apps to help with smaller questions as well as full tutorial sessions.
Availability: Limited evenings (due to childcare constraints). Some weekends.

Ed has been tutoring my nephew Maths for KS3. I’ve been really impressed by his approach and the way he explains issues to him in a simple and very engaging way. He is patient and very skilled at not just explaining difficult concepts but encouraging my nephew to think critically about what he’s learning. This has raised my nephew’s confidence in Maths immensely.
We’ve been using his app in between face to face lessons to practice questions. This arrangement is working really well. Ed sets question on the app for my nephew to practice and also provides extra guidance and feedback through the app.
In addition to this, Ed is punctual, consistent, and goes the extra mile in ensuring he’s dealt with all questions that come his way. I highly recommend!
