I am recent graduate of a UCL Mathematics Bsc and Cranfield Aerodynamics Msc willing to tutor maths and science to children 13+. As a recent graduate I have had relatively recent experience of GCSE and A-level exams myself and have a good understanding of what these require. I am also an experience tutor and have been tutoring GCSE students since I was a year 11 having taken my maths GCSE early.

I also specialise in tutoring further maths and similar qualifications taken by high achievers in mathematics. I am very well positioned to do this as my own maths understanding goes well beyond this level meaning I can easily break down and relate topics, a trait you will rarely find in other tutors (if you can find another further maths tutor at all!)

Experience: I have previously tutored over 50 students through GCSE and A level exams. Last year 95% of my students achieved C equivalent or higher grades and 80% of students achieved either A grades or 2 grades higher than their predicted grades from the start of the academic year.

I`m still awaiting my students grades from this year, but am very hopeful for even better results: last year I had less than 8 weeks to work with a number of students before their exams whereas this year I was fully booked for months ahead of the exam period so had been working with all my students much longer.

I have also tutored a several adult learners through maths qualifications for nursing and teaching, usually where students did poorly at maths at school. I always find an easy rapport with such student and give them (at least a little) interest in the subject, which is often the reason they found school maths difficult.

In addition to this I am a qualified trampolining coach, and have experience coaching a wide variety of ages (3-adult). I am also currently working towards becoming a UKCC level 2 kayaking coach and coach canoe polo to university students and 16 year olds several times a week.
