I have qualified as teacher of chemistry and biology, but since then, have taught various other subjects too, both in groups and individually. Years later, chemistry is still my passion, but I discovered for myself that, believe it or not, maths lessons can be just as much fun! (As a result, I am now preparing a group of girls and boys for their GCSE tests, and am also teaching my two boys)

Whether your child needs just a gentle push to boost their confidence, or is struggling to keep up with the curriculum and requires more help to catch up, I would do my very best to equip them with the skills they need. I believe that if one possesses the necessary knowledge, then it doesn`t matter how that knowledge would be tested. Therefore I always make an emphasis on acquiring sufficient knowledge of a subject before attempting to learn test passing techniques. In the process, I do use various quizzes and test-like exercises, and please be ready to be given homework at the end of most of the lessons as this is one of the main ways for you to check your own progress and to figure out whether there are any areas that would need some more attention.

In my chemistry lessons, I can also include some basic experiments (no scary or dangerous stuff involved!), wherever possible - these would need to be agreed separately and would come at an extra cost.

I mainly teach online, but I can also teach at my own house (please enquire for any other options).

Availability: At the moment, I am mostly available Tuesday And Thursday afternoons between 12-3pm, weekday evenings after 7pm, and Sundays, 11-2pm and after 6:00pm.
