Information about Daniel
I enjoying helping others and am passionate about people. No matter what job I`ve been in, I`ve always wanted to help people succeed.
I am friendly, patient, calm, understanding but above all, like to make learning fun - I really go the extra mile to make learning enjoyable which I feel is so important, especially to a student who may feel unmotivated.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: My background is in sales management but at the dawn of the tech age I decided to go to Uni as a mature student to study computing. I enjoyed it so much I stayed on for a placement year and then a Masters. My MSc was more focused around business and management. I started a PhD too and as part of this I would teach Undergrad students, particularly in the more "pen and paper" modules such as Professional Skills, Presentation Skills and Ethics of IT.
After that I became a stay at home dad and decided I loved teaching so much that I`d do it from home. Then COVID hit and online learning really exploded. I have been doing it ever since.
