Until 5 years ago I was Head of Maths at the local Comprehensive school, after teaching in a variety of schools in Kent, Surrey, Bromley, and East Sussex. I have thoroughly enjoyed the transition to tutoring and am also occasionally used as emergency and maternity cover for A level.
I understand what the exam system needs, and whether you need help gaining a certain grade or confidence the approach is the same. A relaxed, calm atmosphere, with work tailored to individual need. It helps that I have a strong sense of humour, and a very friendly cat who likes to supervise progress.
