Fun, Fitness and creativity are the core components to keeping myself motivated when it comes to the drums. So these are the things I espouse to my students. My job is to unlock these things within you and help you develop to your full potential behind the kit.

I have been drumming for 25+ years and it`s one of my favourite things to do alongside songwriting, singing and production. I`m part of the UK metal / rock band Zedi Forder. Other bands include, Tricore, An Entire Legion, King Born Peasant.
I don`t focus on exams and grades (but do present that route as an option). I do focus, as mentioned, on fun, fitness, motivation, band dynamics and nurturing your creativity and musical ear and all at a pace you`re comfortable with. I teach 55min lessons from home on an e-kit mid-weeks and out of private spaces in Woking and nearby Horsell on an acoustic kit mostly at weekends. I`m willing to travel within a certain radius for increased fee.

Experience: I`ve written, drummed on, sung on and produced multiple releases from full albums to EP`s and built up a strong discography and oodles of practical experience live and in the studio. I`ve also run bands for twenty years so communicating to musicians, both aspiring and existing is second nature to me.
