Jack

At the end of 6th form i received my schools` science award for biology along with this quote from (part of) my teachers citation. "Jack is an incredibly gifted biologist. In lessons, he absorbs, he questions, he understands. He has been an asset to the class and can always be relied upon to help encourage others. He works with dedication and commitment in all tasks".

I`m a keen academic who has studied Law, Economics, Biology and Physics at Sixth Form and now currently studding economics at Manchester.


I believe the key for high results is, not how much you revise or even how many notes you make. Instead, i believe the key is the ability to apply application to what you have just read, in order to answer exam questions on that topic.

In the future i hope to pursue a career as an economic consultant in a medical field.

I tutor have tutored 6 students for the past 2 years who all have given good feedback. All students saw a highly positive overall improvement. All students received A grade or above, which was above their target grade by at least one grade level.

My lessons are generally quite chatty (not loads of notes). At the end of the lessons we will go over lots of exam style questions.
The notes that we do take will be taken from model exam style questions. The reason for this is to maximise time and minimise the amount required to learn. Additionally by taking notes from previous exam papers students get a good idea about what the question is really asking for.
