I am a self-starter and have been teaching for many years. Having achieved well as a remote learner via the Open University while working full-time at a demanding job, I know all about working under pressure. Thus, I approach my teaching with sympathy and understanding. My degree was in Social Sciences and European Humanities and my final year project was focused on the Muslim communities of the UK and France; this involved fieldwork and 1:1 interviewing. I also have a University Diploma in Religious Studies and as such, am well-versed in World Religions. Apart from my teaching, I am a published author of some 24 books about aspects of the aviation industry. I have completed studying politics at Cambridge University.

I believe that in order to learn, you have to have confidence. With that in mind, I try to instill in each and every student the belief that they can succeed, that they can realise their ambitions, and achieve their goals. I have helped my students to realise their full potential by being kind, patient and encouraging and tailoring lessons to meet their individual needs. Through hard work and application, students have become more confident, articulate and enabled to discover where their place in life lies.

I have a wealth of teaching experience in a number of subjects with my students going on to achieve excellent results in their course-work and exams.
