I am currently studying a Masters in Mathematics and I am an Electronic Engineering graduate from Watford with previous tutoring experience looking to help students in Mathematics. I am flexible on the location and timings of lessons.

Being a mathematics tutor is something more than simply teaching content to pass an exam;; as a mathematics tutor, I wish to pass not only my knowledge and techniques, but also my genuine passion for mathematics onto the next generation. Having a passion for mathematics is important as this will instill confidence and determination into the student when tackling any mathematics problem. Further, as many find mathematics difficult, and sometimes even uninteresting, I aim to make the learning process fun and interactive;; this will encourage them to enjoy mathematics as much as I do, naturally resulting in them wanting to do mathematics rather than viewing it merely as a requirement. As a tutor, it is part of my responsibility to target the topics and subject areas that the student finds particularly challenging. I will do this by learning which subject areas we can improve the most, finding the unique, optimum method of learning for each student and of course doing lots of practice which is key to improving in mathematics.

Experience: I am highly proficient in Mathematics; I achieved A*s in both GCSE and A-level mathematics, and an A* and A in GCSE and A-level further mathematics, respectively. I have also achieved first class grades in all my mathematics modules at university. Finally, I have previous experience tutoring privately, and have worked at a Kumon Centre for over 2 years, thus providing me with enough experience and knowledge to shape me to be a highly suitable tutor.
