Information about Kitty
Music Graduate, singer and multi-instrumentalist offering music lessons and tutoring in music theory. I can provide practical tuition in Classical Singing, beginner Clarinet (grades1-5), Jazz Singing and/or Contemporary/Pop Singing. I can provide academic tuition for school music lessons/ GCSE/ A-Level music, and Music Theory Grade 5 (or above).
Every musician is unique, therefore I approach teaching each student differently. I like to offer a free consultation lesson before the first paid lesson so that we can discuss in which ways the student feels they learn best, get to know the student`s strengths and weaknesses, and then proceed accordingly. I try to be an encouraging tutor and not strict; getting my students to engage with and enjoy music as much as I do is always my main objective.

Experience: I am a Music Graduate from the University of Birmingham, having recently achieved my First Class Bachelor of Music with Honours. I am a first study Classical Singer at LRSM Diploma level, and am a keen Jazz and Contemporary singer also. I am a multi-instrumentalist, and play the Clarinet, Saxophone (Tenor) and Piano. I am also proficient in composition (contemporary and classical writing).
