Information about Alastair
I graduated from Oxford with a first-class degree in History and completed an MPhil in History at Cambridge. Most recently, I have been studying at Harvard as a Kennedy Scholar while completing my legal training. I have a wealth of tutoring and teaching experience in the UK and internationally and I am happy to assist students completing their GCSEs, A-Levels and university applications.
Availability: Very flexible
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have tutored both one-to-one, and in groups, on a variety of school subjects, including History, English Literature and French. In addition, I have taught essay-writing technique, and assisted sixth-form students completing university applications. I also have experience teaching in secondary schools (volunteering) and at pre-college summer schools in China. I am a trained volunteer tutor with the Access Project.

I think Alastair is exceptional good as a History tutor! He not only teaches me to grasp with the most critical bits for essay writing and exam technique, but also helps me to develop better critical grounds in order to tackle any possible question set firmly. Highly recommended.
