Hello dear all,
ACCA affiliates membership, 14 exam papers completed, British Chinese qualified accountant. My four years work experience as an auditor with KPMG Hong Kong was over twenty years ago which cannot be recognised here in England. So I cannot get chartered. As I have always been interested in learning English. I am sure I will be of great help to students who want to learn English as a second language. I will be of help as a study buddy for those who is striving to pass their professional exam with ACCA. I can tell you nothing is impossible as I have picked up my last three professional papers of ACCA in May 2015 after over twenty years in my late forties or early fifties with the help of an online study buddy who is a hard worker, who made us pushing each other to work hard on the exam everyday from 7am to 2pm in the first year. So I am here to help and we will get through whatever you want me to help. In dddition, I can be a study buddy to learn another language if you like as I know how hard it is to learn a new language alone. Experience: Was an auditor with KPMG HK for four years from 1989-1993 and Assistant Financial Controller with Coutts & Co HK( a private bank in the NetWest Group) for one year in 1994. I was invited to take over my boss position as a financial controller, yet I got married and wanted my main focus on my family rather than my career, which was a naive decision when we were so young. I even ignored my transistion offer to convert my professional diploma in accountancy to a degree through a six months program offered by the City University of Hong Kong.During my marriage, my sons had my complete focus and I skipped my ACCA professional exam until my kids entered universities. I picked up the professional exam in May 2015. I was part qualified for years and just left behind three papers. I prepared for my first exam when I was fifty. You can hardly imagine the stress especially when I got off my car to enter the exam center. My heart was pounding. Life is just amazing when I look back that I got passed first attempt. I was so blessed and grateful. However when I was preparing for the last exam paper. I had a mini stroke. I prayed before, during and after the exam. I got passed again. I was thrilled the day the exam result was released. So based on what I have been thorough in life, I would like to offer my kindness, help and blessings to anyone who needs my support as I am a warrior, a survivor and an earth angel. So let`s help each other in this life and under the pandemic, such a critical time in life.
