Hello,
I am a friendly, supportive 26 year old full time Primary school teacher who has been involved in education my entire adult life. I went through the education system myself, then went on to complete a teaching degree and then went straight into full time teaching. This means my knowledge of the curriculum is up to date and relevant.
I am very committed to getting the best out of the children I teach, and also able to quickly adapt to their needs.

Availability: Evenings ( after 4pm) and most weekends

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I am currently a full time primary teacher delivering the curriculum to a year 4 class. I have taught at the school for 4 years and I have taught year 3, year 4 and year 5. I have dipped in and out of some other year groups as part of training and support, such as ks1 and year 6. Therefore I have a very broad knowledge of the expectations of the primary curriculum, including year 6 sats.

In the past I have taught as a supply teacher in a variety of primary and secondary schools in the north west. I taught the primary curriculum and also maths and Spanish in secondary schools. Spanish is a specialism I undertook as part of my degree. Maths is also another strength of mine due to studying it up to A level. In my current teaching post I have provided advice to colleagues about aspects of maths teaching, and it has also been noticed by leadership that my maths teaching is particularly strong. I am considering transferring to teach maths in secondary education one day.
