Information about Bethany
I am currently a 2nd year PhD student in Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh with experience tutoring through the company Kumon alongside degree-level tutoring and demonstrating in the School of Biological Sciences. In addition, I have tutored in A-Level biology on a one to one basis. I have also worked in summer school programmes teaching a variety of topics to ages 4-14 years. Building on this experience, I have since gained a position as a course organiser for an online MSc course in Stem Cells and Translational Neurology. I achieved 3A`s in biology, chemistry and maths at A level and a first class Masters with honors in Biomedical Science from the University of Sheffield.
Availability: Flexible working hours which are negotiable.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: Alongside the previously mentioned tutoring experience, I also have plenty of experience teaching different disciplines, including computer animation at summer schools, laboratory demonstrations whilst at university and 7 years experience as a swimming teacher ensure that I am comfortable with all age ranges and abilities, along with being incredibly patient.
