Giving students confidence in themselves, regardless of their ability, is of the utmost importance to me. Together we identify what a student needs to know, and what they are possibly struggling with. Being a good teacher is not about showing what I can do, it is about helping a student to achieve their potential. I recognise the need to explain things, sometimes in a variety of ways, until the student understands, without harming their self-confidence.
The ability to speak another language can open up a world of new experiences. Language learning should be a pleasure, not a chore.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher of French and Spanish, with over 20 years` of teaching experience in different settings. I have taught in several secondary schools teaching both French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4. I have also tutored French and Spanish at KS5 and many adults in commercial settings. I have also taught French in different primary school on a voluntary or high school partnership basis.
