I`m 32, from Nottingham and currently teach a Year 4 class at a school rated `outstanding` by Ofsted. I am the maths coordinator at my school and I am available to give tuition in Maths and English. My style of Maths tutoring is investigative, where I like to explore and look for patterns with students. This helps to secure deeper understanding of concepts and relationships within maths. Additionally, I feel it is worth noting in specific relation to English tuition, if your child`s school is one of the many that use the `Rainbow Grammar` approach, I can confidently teach your child within its format.
Availability: Evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Experience: 7 years teaching in KS2 in Nottinghamshire primary schools. One to one tutoring experience in Maths and English.

I`m really pleased with David. We had him for revision for my child’s SATS. He quickly identified the areas my child needed developing and targeted them every week in a methodical manner. David is not a person who would leave right after 60 mins, if he is in middle of a topic he will complete it before he ends the lesson. He is a very friendly tutor with a very good attitude. As a parent, I can approach him without any hesitation.
