Hello, my name is Helen and I am a Bristol-based tutor.

I hold a degree in Chemistry (University of Bristol) and a PGCE teaching qualification (University of Bristol) as well as an MSc Distinction from University of Bristol in Teaching and Learning.

I tutor Biology, and Maths to GCSE and Chemistry to A-Level. I specialise in AQA and OCR exam boards with experience teaching i-GCSE and I have access to an extensive bank of past-paper exam questions.

I come across as an enthusiastic and motivated teacher. I believe in setting goals that are realistic and can be achieved with clear guidance and hard work. Our sessions will be structured around you, your needs, your strengths and areas for development using exam questions and other useful resources to build knowledge and understanding.

I hold an enhanced CRB disclosure.

Availability: Weekends, some evenings - these will vary week to week depending on school commitments.

Experience: 10 years teaching experience in a selective grammar school. Currently Head of Chemistry in a large comprehensive.
