I am an experienced Science teacher with over a decade worth of teaching experience. I have taught all three specialisms at the GCSE level. I take great pride in the knowledge and skills that I have in all three areas. I am qualified to tutor Triple Science Biology/Chemistry as well as Combined Science. Throughout my career, I have consistently delivered excellent results, building a proven track record of academic success and pupil progress. Currently serving as Head of Science at a Good Ofsted- rated school, I take pride not only in maintaining high standards of achievement, but also fostering a genuine love of learning in my students.

Teaching is more than a profession for me, it is my passion. I believe in inspiring curiosity, confidence and resilience in every learner. I firmly believe that it is my duty to ensure that all of my students are not only well prepared for exams, but also equipped with the skills and enthusiasm to continue their learning journey beyond the classroom. My approach combines subject expertise with supportive, motivating environment that helps students unlock their potential.

Whether working with high-achieving pupils or those who require additional support, I tailor my deliver to meet individual needs, always with the goal of instilling both understanding and a lasting enjoyment of Science.

Experience: I began my teaching career in Jamaica, where I taught from 2012 to 2016, delivering GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, as well as A-level Chemistry and Biology. Since 2016, I have been teaching in the UK, covering the full spectrum from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. In addition to classroom teaching, I have taken on several leadership roles focused on curriculum development and delivery, playing a key part in shaping and enhancing Science education within my schools.
